Please read carefully to see if you qualify for assistance. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, there is a waiting list. You will be contacted in the order your request is received.

You can reach the United Way help line by dialing 211 to learn about other community resources in our area.

Project Easter
It's time to sign up for Project Easter! You can request assistance if you have children 12 or under in your home. Please only make one request. A worker will contact you to confirm and schedule your pickup time.

Food / Toiletries / Diapers
Clients may receive food assistance from the SEA food pantry 6 times per year.

Utility Assistance
You may request assistance with utilities if you have a disconnect notice and live in Shelby County. Assistance can be completed one time in a 12 month period.
If your utilities are currently OFF please complete a request and call our office at 205-665-1942.

Medical Assistance
You may be eligible for assistance with medicine, dental, doctor visit, or eye care.

Housing Assistance
Housing assistance requests are currently closed as we work through our current waitlist.
