In Need of Assistance?
Please read carefully to see if you qualify for assistance. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, there is a waiting list. You will be contacted in the order your request is received.

You can reach the United Way help line by dialing 211 to learn about other community resources in our area.

Food / Toiletries / Diapers
Clients may receive food assistance from the SEA food pantry 6 times per year.


Utility Assistance
Due to an overwhelming number of requests, we are temporarily pausing new applications for utility assistance.

If your utility service is currently OFF, please call our office at 205-665-1942 for assistance or complete a request online.

We understand the urgency many families are facing and are working diligently to assist those already on our waitlist. We plan to reopen for new requests in the near future and will share updates as soon as they are available.

Medical Assistance
You may be eligible for assistance with medicine, dental, doctor visit, or eye care.


Housing Assistance
Requests for housing assistance are accepted the 1st - 10th of every month. If you are currently homeless, you may request assistance at any time.
